I can vividly remember meeting Claire for the first time a couple of months before the Roald Dahl Museum opened way back in 2005. Her knowledge of Roald Dahl and her love for literacy was obvious to every member of the team and each and every visitor that we welcomed. I’m sure there’s lots of children out there that decided to pick up a book and fall in love with stories for the first time after meeting Claire. And after working with her for nearly 10 years, I am well aware of the impact Claire made on me as a person – to be more positive, to be more open minded and to be more understanding of others. She will be missed.
