Claire and her family will always be a big part of my childhood. I always found Claire to be caring and kind. Despite the struggles that life threw her way she always seemed to work hard at enjoying life and getting the most out of it. She was extremely creative and as with many, through her difficulties she found a love and passion in her artistic side. Her passing has made me reflect a great deal on my life and my relationships with others, I wish I'd been able to spend more time with her. Her leaving, whilst so desperately painful for her family, will make me strive to do more, to give more, to those around me; family, friends and community.
